A Benefit Art Sale To Provide Humanitarian Aid To The People of Ukraine

On May 21 and 22, the Sausalito Art Festival Foundation (SAFF) will hold a benefit art sale with proceeds donated to UNICEF, the Red Cross and World Central Kitchen, supporting relief for victims of war in Ukraine.

While we know that nothing can erase the death, destruction and despair caused by the horrible war in Ukraine, we believe the power of art can play a role in providing humanitarian aid to the people of Ukraine in this time of need.

This event will be held at the newly formed Sausalito Center For The Arts in downtown Sausalito, and will feature artwork in multiple creative categories. The event will be marketed via the Sausalito Art Festival’s extensive email lists of previous Festival ticket buyers, Google Keywords, Social Media channels and PR.

Our goal is to physically sell the artwork in person on the days of the events, therefore, we prefer that artists deliver or ship the artwork to the SAFF office in Sausalito. However, any artwork that does not sell will need to be picked up by the artist; we can not ship the work back to the artist.

As an alternative, artist may provide SAFF with a digital image representing their work. The image will be added to an Online Gallery and concurrently displayed at the event as work for sale. It will be the responsibility of the artist whose work is sold via the Online Gallery to coordinate with the buyer for the delivery/shipping of their art.

We hope that you join us in this meaningful event and after signing the Artist Contract below denoting your agreement to participate, we will send more detailed information about the event logistics.
