Forged from the soul and tradition of rock n’ roll legends before them, KINGSBOROUGH breathes new life into the music that has inspired generations. As an emerging band from the San Francisco Bay Area, their raw high-energy performances and powerhouse vocals have made KINGSBOROUGH a standout among their peers. They seduce with their rhythm-heavy rock n’ roll mixed with soulful harmonious instrumentation and storytelling lyrics.
The band has quickly become a fan and critic favorite with singles such as “Low Down" and “Subtle Lies” off their current album, which spent 6 weeks on college radio Top 200 and is currently featured on Spotify’s “Blues & Roots Rock” playlist.
Big Sam’s Funky Nation
Big Sam’s Funky Nation is a driving force of urban funk. Ryan White, of the Oregonian, says the band is “tight enough (and hot enough) to turn coal into a diamond!” The band is led by trombone powerhouse, Big Sam Williams, formerly the trombonist for the Dirty Dozen Brass Band, who the San Francisco Chronicle calls “the top man on the slide trombone in the birthplace of jazz.”
Big Sam refuses to let the audience sit still. Between the band’s solos, Big Sam’s signature dance moves and his distinctive trombone riffs, the energy level is high voltage when this band takes the stage!
Blood, Sweat & Tears

The group recorded songs by rock/folk songwriters such as Laura Nyro, James Taylor, the Band and the Rolling Stones as well as Billie Holiday and Erik Satie. They also incorporated music from Thelonious Monk and Sergei Prokofiev into their arrangements.
