The Sausalito Art Festival is an annual event, always held on Labor Day Weekend. Gates are open on Saturday & Sunday from 9am to 6pm, and on Monday from 9am to 5pm.
Sausalito a has become a special place because of talented artists and wonderful community spirit. The Sausalito Art Festival is pleased to provide public service in many ways. Our three-day Event helps to raise money to support the arts community, fund community grants programs to non-profit organizations, and to provide help with public programs.
This section includes all of the information you will need to register to volunteer. Please read it carefully and return the Application Form to Festival Headquarters as soon as possible. The earlier you sign up, the better your chances for getting your position of choice.

P.S. We depend on our volunteers to make the Festival the dynamic Event that it is. Your presence and prompt arrival are counted on for the days you are scheduled to work. If your schedule must change, please contact us immediately!
What Do I Need to Do?
Please print or type all requested information. Use one Application Form per person. While we encourage you to volunteer as much as you can, the minimum time requirement is one full 4 hour shift.
Committee Choice: Review the list of Volunteer Committees and fill in your top choice(s) on the Application Form. Many areas fill up quickly, so please return your Application Form early. Volunteer Application Deadline is Monday, August 13, 2007. Requests will be considered on a first come basis. You will receive your assignment by mail from the Festival Office. Volunteers who wish to work together should return their Application Forms together.
All new volunteers are required to attend one of the two Volunteer Orientation sessions at the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers - Bay Model Visitor Center, Multi-Purpose Room, 2100 Marinship Way, Sausalito, Tuesday, August 21nd, from 6:00pm to 7:30pm, or on Saturday, August 25th, from 10:00am to 11:30am. It is highly suggested that all volunteers attend, as these sessions provide you with updated details and logistics of the Festival.
