Living near Lake Tahoe for the past 18 years has allowed me to become familiar with the unique beauty of the High Sierra.  The effect of the harsh winter on the land, the seasonal contrast in light and color, the immense scale, the relationship of water and sky, all translate into endless challenges for an artist.
