I have dedicated myself to the art of naïve glass painting since 1974.  My interest arose partly through the close contact to some important glass painters, most of them originating from my hometown.  After emigrating to Germany, I started combining motives of my native Croatia with the ones of my chosen new home.  A very interesting symbiosis developed; in the course of the following years the giddy-paced living styles of our society occupied me more intensively, as well as the examination of landscape and architecture.  This lead me to the question, "Is landscape a prisoner of architecture?"  From then on I devoted myself to the surrealistic-fantastic articulation of this theme.  I develope an individual frame for each painting, acting as a sculpture by itself and a harmonious composition with the artwork.
