Eligibility Information
Only one application per Social Security Account Number will be accepted.
Application deadline - July 14, 2008.
Applicants must be:
1. U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident Alien cardholder,
and be eligible to receive Federal Financial Aid
for Education at a U.S. school.
2. Resident of the Bay Area, and:
graduating from a Bay Area high school in the spring of 2008,
or who are in college now, in-state as well as out-of-state.
The Bay Area is defined as the following counties:
Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Napa, San Francisco,
San Mateo, Santa Clara, Solano, and Sonoma.
3. Attending an institution of higher education
in the fall of 2008.
4. Pursuing a degree in Art or Art-related major.
Finalists must provide the following to prove satisfaction of eligibility:
Photocopy of Social Security Card or Permanent Resident Alien Card
Photocopy of valid California Driver License or Identification Card
Official copy of college transcript verifying official GPA
Proof of enrollment including college or university tuition bill,
and official registrar's office letter that proves enrollment
at least half-time for fall 2008.
